It's been a long time since I've eaten something so well prepared!Comfort food, with presentation!The place is scrupulously clean.The staff are helpful, friendly and very helpful.The owner of the tavern deserves a big congratulations!Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Excellent! A place with homemade food and a family atmosphere. I ate pheasant rice for the first time and it left me wanting to go back and try more delicacies from the list. The service was very friendly, which made the meal a unique moment and worth repeating.

Here you can find some dishes that you don't see in most restaurants.These days, most restaurants have almost the same menus, those 4 or 5 meat and fish dishes that are always the same.The chef is the chef!!! The menu changes daily. Taverna do Baleia offers game dishes, comfort dishes, which make you feel comforted when you eat them. The food is full of flavor, and you can clearly see the use of aromatic herbs in each dish.All the dishes are excellent. This time we tried the wild boar stew, the lamb, the octopus and the pheasant rice, all of which were good. I would like to highlight the rice, which is divine, and the lamb, which is clearly much better here than in other restaurants. The desserts are also very good. I don't like quince and I was won over by the roasted quince.It is essential to book, as the place is not very large.PS: The worst part of the meal was the coffee (the only thing that wasn't made by the cook), when it's like that, it says it all :D

A delightful space, service, and care, but the food... surpasses it! Traditional Portuguese food of excellent preparation and quality! The desserts are to be enjoyed slowly and indulged! Thank you to the owners for this experience. I loved it! I will definitely do it again!
